Split Tickets

A split ticket is like playing more than one keno game at the same time. You
select different groups of numbers. Each group is signified by a different
letter. Each of these groups is a separate game, so each group corresponds
to a possible way of winning. The example below shows 3 groups of 8 spots
each.
In the left column under the Ways heading, you will see entries such as
"3/8." In this notation, the first number represents the number of ways, and
the second number represents the number of spots. Thus, 3/8 means there
are 3 ways of 8 spots each (A, B, C).

When playing a split ticket, the different groups you select may or may not
have the same number of spots. You can change the bet for each set of ways
with a given number of spots. Thus, if you have ways of 2/8 and 2/6, the bet
size can be one value for the 8 spot ways and a different value for the 6 spot
ways. However, each of the ways for a given number of spots must have the
same bet size.

Combination Tickets

Combination tickets extend the idea of split tickets one step further. Recall
that in split tickets each letter group represents one way of winning. In
combination tickets, we combine the different groups to form more ways of
winning.
For example, if we mark off 3 groups of 4 spots, as in the figure above, then
we have 3 ways of playing 4 spot games (A, B, C), 3 ways of playing 8 spot
games (A+B, B+C, C+A), and 1 way of playing a 12 spot game (A+B+C). All
such possible ways are shown under the Ways column: 3/4, 3/8, 1/12 in this
case.

When a combination ticket consists of groups of equal numbers of spots, it is
called a way ticket. When a combination ticket has at least one group of
only a single spot, it is called a king ticket and the the single spot group is
called a king.

As in split tickets, you can change the bet size for the ways of a given spot
number. To not play a set of ways, set its bet size to 0.
